Laboratory Services Coordinator
Preclinical Simulation Laboratory
School of Dentistry
For ten years I've been the sole full time staff support for 250+ users of the School of Dentistry Simulation Lab. I've become adept at finding order in chaos, creatively solving problems & juggling the needs of a lot of people at once.
I joined the Medical Reserve Corps program, in part, with the hope of being useful and aiding the University community during a public health emergency.
I have participated in many MRC activities, all of which have been practical & informative in nature including CPR, First Aid, Active Threat training, and mass dispensing/vaccination drills. I always come away from these activities with a deep sense of appreciation for the time & energy the organizers have put into these activities. I also find it reassuring to know that such competent & caring people have worked so hard to ensure a better outcome should a disaster strike.
