Jeremy Vanlaningham is a Registered Nurse enrolled in the School of Nursing Doctor of Nursing Practice Anesthesia program.
I was working in the ICU when COVID-19 struck and had been accepted into the DNP-anesthesia program. The program requires full time attendance and a reciprocal decrease in my work hours. The MRC offered an opportunity to contribute in the fight against COVID-19. The time commitment allowed me to participate while maintaining my level of needed studying.
When asked to describe his experience serving as a vaccine Injector at the COVID-19 mass vaccination clinics, Jeremy answered, "I found the vaccine clinics to be incredibly well organized and run! It was great to connect with students, staff, community members, and non U of MN educators! The feeling was energizing to be part of the effort to combat COVID-19 and be part of history in the making!"
