STOP THE BLEED is a hemorrhage control course developed by the American College of Surgeons. This course is designed for individuals who have little or no medical training, as well as health care personnel who want to provide initial bleeding control to a victim of traumatic injury prior to the arrival of emergency medical services.

This training is sponsored by the M Health-Fairview Trauma Services and the Health Emergency Response Office. This course is taught by certified instructors and includes hands on practice of bleeding control measures. Course limited to 30 participants.
