Open to: All U of M students, staff, and faculty
This class will cover topics in basic first aid, including what to do for wound care, burns and blisters, and cold weather basics. Participants will also learn best practices for approaching an injured person. This class does not include instruction on CPR.
This training is sponsored by the Health Emergency Response Office (HERO) and is taught by HERO staff member Oona Beall, MPH, WFR. The course is limited to 40 participants.
A light lunch will be provided. Please bring your own beverage.
