Train the Trainer
Psychological First Aid (PFA) is an evidence-informed approach designed to reduce the initial distress of individuals who have experienced a traumatic event. This training will equip you with essential, practical skills to provide immediate support to people in crisis situations.
This training will provide attendees with the ability to train others in this beneficial and important resource for disaster response and recovery.
A pre-requisite is the completion of the MN Model of Psychological First Aid (PFA), and submission of a certificate of attendance.
A certificate of attendance that can be used for 2.5 continuing education credits will also be provided.
NOTE this is offered by the Minnesota Department of Health Disaster Behavioral Health MRC.
