Trauma-Informed Care: MRC Disaster Behavioral Health Training Series

Participants: All University of Minnesota faculty, staff, and student employees. There is no cost to attend this training.

Communities and emergency responders experience considerable trauma as a result of disasters. Learn about how to provide trauma-informed care and develop plans for recovery.

This session is part of the University of Minnesota Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) Disaster Behavioral Health Training series. In this training, MRC members will learn about trauma-informed care in the context of disaster response.

 

 

This training is led by Jessie Everts, PhD, LMFT and ThanhVan Vu, MPS, LADC, LPCC. Jessie is a community faculty member in the UMN School of Social work as well as a practicing Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. ThanhVan is the Interim Assistant Director and an Urgent Crisis Therapist at Boynton Health and serves as the co-lead for the MRC Behavioral Health Response Team.
