Participants: All University of Minnesota faculty, staff, and student employees.
There is no cost to attend this training.

Disasters take an incredible toll on communities and response workers. Learn basic concepts of disaster mental health and how to build resiliency.

This session is part of the University of Minnesota Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) Disaster Behavioral Health Training series. As a result of this training, participants will be able to:

● Identify and describe the psychosocial impact associated with each phase of disaster response.
● Understand basic concepts of disaster mental health within communities.
● Recognize individual impact of a disaster and provide tools to mitigate adverse effects and promote long-term resilience.
