Participants: All University of Minnesota faculty, staff, and student employees. There is no cost to attend this training.
Learn more about what really happens when MRC members respond to an emergency. This training is provided by a group of MRC staff and members including Courtney Wetternach, Catherine Harrison, Tai Mendenhall, Carlos Cruz, and Natalie Vestin. Trainers will share their real experiences deploying with the MRC across a variety of natural-caused, human-caused, large- and small-scale events. They will also detail the support members receive before, during, and after a deployment. This session is part of the University of Minnesota Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) Disaster Behavioral Health Training series.
